Weekly Highs

This has been a frigging awesome week. I’m not sure what happened to me on Sunday but I’ve been well and truly bitten by the productivity bug. I got so much done this week in terms of work and for the first time in aaaaggggeeess, I’m actually on top of all my shit. I do not know this feeling but I like it.

Here are a few of the best moments

Public Speaking

Last Sunday, I had the fab opportunity to guest speak at Jutox’s Business, Beauty and Blogging event. It was amazing. Not only was it a superbly executed event, speaking at it was one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. I guest speak at a lot of events and every time I get such a buzz afterwards but this was on a whole other level. I felt really confident and the audience were just great. I’ve been on such high from it all week and I can’t for my next shot at it… on Tuesday lolz.

The Office

This week I finally got round to watching The Office – all two seasons in their entirety. Not only did I nearly pass out from laughing on several occasions, but I really loved getting into a new TV show or box set with Sean. As we’re both so busy, it’s our way of spending quality time together, not staring at our phones or Macbooks.

Lean In

Another thing I finally got around to was reading Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In. I’ve been meaning to read it for a while now but when it came up in my recommended section on Amazon I clicked the buy button. It really is a book that everyone should read, especially women. It really inspired me to work harder on myself and do better on behalf of womankind.

The Epiphany I’ve Been Waiting For

Last year I decided to write a book. I produced a fairly basic ebook back at the start of 2015, and wanted to take on the challenge of writing something in-depth, all on my own, to prove to myself that I’m capable and tick something off the bucketlist. I’ve been working on it in bits and pieces for the past few months but on Friday, the title of the book just popped into my head and gave the whole idea structure and purpose. From that, I’ve been able to get stuck into and I have a timeline and schedule and fingers crossed, it will be with you at the end of 2016.

Thanks for reading. I hope you’ve had the best week too.
